MHC Connections

Every year, we at Modern Humanists Collective will be supporting a different charity close to our hearts.  

We will also be completing challenges and organising sponsorship events, so watch this space!

For 2025, we have chosen to donate £5 from every wedding ceremony we conduct to help raise funds for the amazing charity Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA)   

Around 1 in 700 babies are born with a cleft around the world. That's over 1200 babies born with a cleft each year in the UK! 

CLAPA provides a warm welcome to all, and is on hand to assist with a wide range of practical and emotional support whether that be for new parents, children and young people, adults, and the wider community.  

The charity relies on the kindness and generosity of the community to help them provide services beyond the hospital walls and make sure that every child born with a cleft can grow up smiling inside and out. 

We will be donating directly to our dedicated JustGiving fundraising page.
